FAQs

  • It is my first appointment, which should I book?"
All New clients are required to book New Patient Post Op Session. This appointment Is designed to give alotted time to assess and educate you on achieving optimum results.
  • What is Cavitation?
Cavitation is a phenomenon in which rapid changes of pressure in a liquid lead to the formation of small vapor-filled cavities in places where the pressure is relatively low. When subjected to higher pressure, these cavities, called "bubbles" or "voids", collapse and can generate a shock wave that is strong very close to the bubble, but rapidly weakens as it propagates away from the bubble. Cavitation cannot be added to the butt after a BBL, please wait 6-8 weeks before you touch your bottom. Unless you had butt shots or a butt reduction. You can add cavitation or radio frequency after all your incisions are closed. I personally like to wait 2 weeks after your surgery date. You can add on cavitation or radio frequency to your appointment for $30. Please let the therapist know at the beginning of the session to make sure we have enough time.
  • What is Radiofrequency?
Radio frequency (RF) is the oscillation rate of an alternating electric current or voltage or of a magnetic, electric or electromagnetic field or mechanical system in the frequency range from around 20 kHz to around 300 GHz. This is roughly between the upper limit of audio frequencies and the lower limit of infrared frequencies; these are the frequencies at which energy from an oscillating current can radiate off a conductor into space as radio waves. Different sources specify different upper and lower bounds for the frequency range.
  • When can I add on Cavitation or Radiofrequency?
    3-4 weeks AFTER surgery.
  • How do I know if I need a 30 minute sessions or a 60 minute sessions?
Great Question, Always ask your doctor the she/he recommendation. I always like to ask clients this question "How much time are you willing to spend on your recovery"? 30 minute sessions are great for people who received LIPO360 only. 30 minute sessions are great for LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE SESSIONS meaning the fluid will drain out of the incisions. 60 minute sessions are great for multiple areas such as BBL, Tummy Tuck, BBL with Lipo360 Arms and Chin Lipo. These are examples to show you that multiple areas need more time.
  • When can I add on Wood Therapy to my appointment?
    4-6 weeks AFTER surgery.
  • What is Wood Therapy?
Maderoterapia or Wood Therapy is a holistic technique with specially designed wooden elements (rolling pins) that come in different sizes and shapes. Each wooden element has a specific use for a particular area of the body.
  • How does wood therapy help the body?
Wood Therapy relaxes the mind and body to reduce mental and physical tension. It also stimulates the organs and stimulates blood circulation and lymphatic drainage for improved overall health. The first few weeks after surgery your skin is like paper thin. It might take a few weeks to get use to the human touch the wood tools might be too much at first. This is a mind or matter service. If you can tolerate the wood therapy we can proceed. You can add on wood therapy to your appointment for $40. Please let the therapist know at the beginning of the session to make sure we have enough time.
  • How many lymphatic drainage sessions do I need?
Healing times may vary. We may be able to perform lymphatic draining during the first appointment if fluid allows. The body can be stubborn. If differences are not visual it is usually due to the lymphatic system being backed up. We suggest increasing the intake of H2O or 100% pineapple juice.

Like other body lifts, butt lift surgery is useful for removing excess skin while toning and tightening the remaining skin. Mommy Makeover - 20 to 25 A mommy makeover is one of the most unique cosmetic procedures available in the sense that it's not a single, defined surgery . Instead, a mommy makeover allows the patient and surgeon to work together to determine which surgeries and treatments will best help patients best achieve their goals. As it is, a Mommy Makeover is typically comprised of roughly three procedures: a breast lift, liposuction, and tummy tuck. These three procedures are designed to address complaints that are common among mothers or at least exacerbated by motherhood. Tummy Tuck - 20 to 30 A tummy tuck is a cosmetic surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the abdomen. During a tummy tuck also known as abdominoplasty excess skin and fat are removed from the abdomen. Connective tissue in the abdomen (fascia) usually is tightened with sutures as well. The remaining skin is then repositioned to create a more toned look. You might choose to have a tummy tuck if you have excess fat or skin around the area of your bellybutton or a weak lower abdominal wall. A tummy tuck can also boost your body image. 360 Liposuction and Brazilian Butt Lift 15 to 25 This procedure is perfect for individuals who are looking for a more contoured midsection, as well as adding shape and volume to your buttocks. The butt augmentation procedure uses liposuction to remove fat from specific midsection areas. The removed fat is then processed, purified and re-injected into the buttocks area to enhance the shape and symmetry of the butt and hip areas. Arm Liposuction - 15 sessions 30-40 min Liposuction of the arms is a form of plastic surgery to remove stubborn fat pockets on the upper arms. It can effectively remove bat wings and restore self-confidence. Chin Liposuction - 10 sessions 30-40 min Liposuction under the chin (submental suction-assisted lipectomy) is a surgical procedure performed to remove unwanted deposits of fat from beneath the chin (“double chin”) and to improve jawline definition. Inner Thigh Liposuction - 15 sessions 30-40 min Liposuction on the inner thighs could improve the overall silhouette of the thighs. During this procedure, the surgeon often treats the inner knees too; this to maintain the symmetry of the legs.

  • What is Manual Lymph Drainage?
Manual Lymph Drainage is a type of session based on the hypothesis that it will encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. The lymph system depends on intrinsic contractions of the smooth muscle cells in the walls of lymph vessels and the movement of skeletal muscles to propel lymph through the vessels to lymph nodes and then to the lymph ducts which return lymph to the cardiovascular system. Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow. Clinical studies of MLD conclude that further study of the practice is required before recommending it as an effective health treatment.
  • What are the benefits of Manual Lymph Drainage?
    1. Benefits of Edema Manual Lymph drainage is effective for edema and lymphedema. Edema is the abnormal accumulation of fluid in various tissues of the body, whereas lymphedema is due to a buildup of fluid and toxins in the lymphatic system. Although Manual Lymph drainage can reduce edema, it can also aggravate severe conditions in which edema is a symptom. Some severe causes of edema include cirrhosis, kidney disease, and congestive heart failure. If you do not know the cause of your chronic edema, consult a doctor before getting Manual Lymph drainage. 2. Before and after Surgery Manual Lymph drainage is also used before and after surgery, especially cosmetic procedures. It is able to increase blood flow, remove stagnant tissue fluid, and reduce stress and anxiety associated with surgery. 3. Strengthens Immunity Since the immune system is directly linked to the lymphatic system, Manual Lymph drainage can stimulate white blood cell circulation, improve immune system function, and increase antibody production. This will fight off infections like colds or flu and reduce inflammation. People who are prone to getting sick are also encouraged to get Manual Lymph drainage on a regular basis. The general recommendation is a daily session for one week or one session weekly for a three-month timeframe. 4. Relieves Tension and Stress Stress is known to trigger the sympathetic nervous system, and this causes muscles to tense up and increases respiratory and heart rates. However, Manual Lymph drainage will trigger the parasympathetic nervous system, which is known to relax muscles and slow the heart and respiratory rates. 5. Enhances Skin Health Manual Lymph drainage could also improve unhealthy skin due to poor circulation. This technique will stimulate blood circulation, bring nutrients to the skin, and remove toxins and wastes from skin cells. The session is known to be useful for eczema, rosacea, and acne, although it’s best to avoid this session during the acute stage of any skin problem. Also avoid Manual Lymph drainage when skin is infected or inflamed, which could include heat, redness, pain, or swelling symptoms. This is because your skin problem may spread to other areas that are not infected. 6. Improves Breastfeeding Manual Lymph drainage improves comfort in the legs and feet during pregnancy, and it also enhances breastfeeding after pregnancy. Some women experience complications while breastfeeding, often due to the baby improperly latching onto the breast. As a result, breasts and nipples become sore and painful, and the ducts blocked. However, manual lymph drainage will help reduce swelling, improve blocked ducts, and decrease soreness in the nipples and breasts. This then leads to better breastfeeding.
